Kit Zare’s photographic career spans over three decades. Born and raised in the Southeast, moving to California offered him the opportunity to pursue multiple opportunities and eventually a formal photographic education. This led to both commercial work and continued personal work and projects. Inspired by sharing the essence of a given moment, Kit’s work strives to draw the viewer in.
Artist's Statement
Photography offers me an opportunity to see deeply and venture far and wide geographically. In order, to create meaningful images, it also invites me to dive deeper into myself.
Photography provides a window to other places and states of mind. Whether taking us to a love from the past, inspiring us to honor and cherish, offering a contemplative moment or a myriad of other emotions, imagery should make us feel.
